Heritage United Methodist Church Music was God’s idea. In the Old Testament, God molded music and worship, a glorious union. King David appointed the tribe of Levi to become musicians. Large choirs were used for flute, pipe, horn, trumpets, and other percussion instruments. The purpose of the choir is to sing for the glory of God and to provide an avenue of service for those who have been given a gift of music. |
